2+2+2 Recording®
is the compatible use of the 5.1 transmission medium for a system
of three-dimensional sound reproduction with three stereophonic
channels. The 3 D sound reproduction is made possible through an
additional pair of loudspeakers which can be operated alternatively
to the 5.1 center/subwoofer.

2+2+2 has not only one optimal listening position, but as many as
the listener wants. 2+2+2 guarantees the listener a “spatial” experience
instead of the previous standard stereo or flat 5.1 sound.
